CeaseFire Rally to Restore the Funding

Hundreds of supporters gathered outside the Thompson Center in Chicago to proclaim support for CeaseFire and ask that State funding for the program be restored to the level it was for SFY2007. In August, CeaseFire's state funding was cut from the budget. Alderman, state representatives, state senators, faith leaders, police, community leaders and others spoke out to restore the funding for CeaseFire at the rally.
